YOUR PERPETUAL SOURCE, SUPPLY, AND SURPLUS NOW AND FOREVER

God directed Jesus through Samaria in John 4th chapter, (TPT). He was assigned to introduce the woman at the well to her Source and Supply. She had an unquenchable thirst that she could never satisfy. Jesus graciously and gingerly removed every barrier obstructing her breakthrough as He conversed with her, “Give me a drink,” v 8. Although she slammed the door of her heart shut to bar Him from having access, He awakened her desire for supernatural fulfillment. “Jesus replied, If you only knew who I am and the gift that God wants to give you, you’d ask Me for a drink, and I would give you living water,” v10. Afterward, she asked where she could find this living water, since it was apparent Jesus did not have a pail to draw from the well. So God’s lovingkindness could draw her to Him, “Jesus answered, “If you drink from Jacob’s well, you’ll be thirsty again, but if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never be thirsty again. For when you drink the water I give you, it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, flooding you with endless life!,” vv13-14. In Greek, it shows where our relationship with God begins with Him as our Source and Supply. In that one moment in time, she knew the desire of God’s heart for her to receive. “The woman replied, “Let me drink that water so I’ll never be thirsty again and won’t have to come back here to draw water,” v15. “All at once, the woman left her water jar and ran off to her village and told everyone,” v 28. No exchange seemed to occur. Moreover, she was drenched by Holy Spirit. She received spiritual transformation, the New Birth. “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit,” 1 Cor. 12:13 (KJV). Also in Greek, Jesus promised to be our Surplus through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. “He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water,” John 7:38 (KJV). Live fully clothed, fully complete, and fully crammed.
