The Honor and Majesty Bestowed upon Jesus Christ
Philippians 2:8-11, (Amp) is a clear representation of Jesus’ honor and majesty—the repossession of the power and authority that was temporarily lost. “And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” The following two scriptures are a word picture of all Jesus Christ conquered; there is nothing left outside of his rule. Revelation 11:15, (Amp), “… The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world has now come into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the eternities of the eternities)!” And Revelation 12:10, (Amp), “Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come—the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!” Jesus can’t lose the Victor’s crown. Triumph remains irreversible. ‘You win some, you lose some’ is over now! Jesus redeemed everything concerning you forever!
