Be Holy Spirit Dominant: Live the Prearranged Path God Designed

“Do what your king commands; you gave a sacred oath of obedience. Don’t worryingly second-guess your orders or try to back out when the task is unpleasant. You’re serving his pleasure, not yours. The king has the last word. Who dares say to him, “What are you doing?” Carrying out orders won’t hurt you a bit; the wise person obeys promptly and accurately. Yes, there’s a right time and way for everything, even though, unfortunately, we miss it for the most part. It’s true that no one knows what’s going to happen, or when. Who’s around to tell us?” Eccl. 8:2-7, The Message. The answer is: Holy Spirit! Jesus taught His disciples about Holy Spirit’s ministry. From the Voice Translation, three Scriptures show His significance to sustain an intimate fellowship in every area of your life. The Present: “I will ask the Father to send you another Helper, the Spirit of truth, who will remain constantly with you. The world does not recognize the Spirit of truth, because it does not know the Spirit and is unable to receive Him. But you do know the Spirit because He lives with you, and He will dwell in you”, John 14:16-17. The Past: “The Father is sending a great Helper, the Holy Spirit, in My name to teach you everything and to remind you of all I have said to you”, John 14:26. The Future: “The Spirit of truth will come and guide you in all truth. He will not speak His own words to you; He will speak what He hears, revealing to you the things to come and bringing glory to Me. The Spirit has unlimited access to Me, to all that I possess and know, just as everything the Father has is Mine. That is the reason I am confident He will care for My own and reveal the path to you”, John 16:13-15. Stay connected!

The Message Bible Imparts The Framework For Your Self-Portrait

Your Anticipation: “Use all your skill to put me together; I wait to see your finished product”, Psalm 25:21. “God, my God, I yelled for help and you put me together. God, you pulled me out of the grave, gave me another chance at life when I was down-and-out”, Psalm 30:2-3. Your Affirmation: “God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together, he gave me a fresh start. Now I’m alert to God’s ways; I don’t take God for granted. Every day I review the ways he works; I try not to miss a trick. I feel put back together, and I’m watching my step. God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes”, Psalm 18:20-24. Your Answer from Jesus: “This, in a nutshell, is that will: that everything handed over to me by the Father be completed—not a single detail missed—and at the wrap-up of time I have everything and everyone put together, upright and whole. This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time,” John 6:39-40. I join my faith with yours that all the pieces of your life will resemble the masterpiece God designed before the foundation of the world. “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!”, I Thessalonians 5:23-24.

August 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

Your Confirmation: God Always Sets An End To Everything He Begins

It doesn’t matter how you start; it really counts more how you finish. We wouldn’t fret if we could see the end God ordains. Judah—Jacob and Leah’s fourth son—received a prophetic blessing from his father recorded in Genesis 49:10-12, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah until Shiloh comes, whom all people shall obey. He has chained his steed to the choicest vine and washed his clothes in wine. His eyes are darker than wine and his teeth are whiter than milk”. Revelation 5:5, TLB shares the fulfillment of that promise: “But one of the twenty-four Elders said to me, “Stop crying, for look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, and proved himself worthy to open the scroll and to break its seven seals”. Leah interprets Judah’s name as “Now will I praise the Lord”, Genesis 29:35. Strong’s Concordance defines his name “celebrated”, universally known as “praise”. God is enthroned in power when you praise him. Alignment to God reproduces destiny. Praise is how we work with God to still the enemy; then the defeated foe can only be a spectator, never a devastator. What’s received in the genesis of life springs forth after we receive a revelation of who we really are in the kingdom of God. In Isaiah 46:10, God speaks the climax of our story. “Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure”. The middle is not your end: it’s just an indicator you’re half-way there. Refuse to get stuck in the middle. “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof…” Ecclesiastes 7:8.

July 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

The Honor and Majesty Bestowed upon Jesus Christ

Philippians 2:8-11, (Amp) is a clear representation of Jesus’ honor and majesty—the repossession of the power and authority that was temporarily lost. “And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” The following two scriptures are a word picture of all Jesus Christ conquered; there is nothing left outside of his rule. Revelation 11:15, (Amp), “… The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world has now come into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the eternities of the eternities)!”  And Revelation 12:10, (Amp), Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come—the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!” Jesus can’t lose the Victor’s crown. Triumph remains irreversible. ‘You win some, you lose some’ is over now! Jesus redeemed everything concerning you forever!

June 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

The Word Gives Full Expression of Just How Tangible God Really Is

God created everything on earth to image heaven with the presence of his own Word. John 1:1-3, 10-14 documents this as well as, what happens as we welcome the Word to be sown into our heart; our DNA changes. We literally become the authority in the earth as we release that same Word into our atmosphere to continue the restoration process. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Make it a daily habit to speak the Word aloud until it speaks back to you. Be diligent to say promises that cover all the areas of your life, even in the face of your own unbelief. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” II Timothy 3:16-17. When the Word appears to be only intangible, it cannot be disproved. It is the same Word that constituted God’s vow that he cannot lie. Therefore it ends all arguments. Every case is settled in your favor because the Word is settled in heaven.

May 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

Jesus conquered even death—the weapon formed to overthrow you

God sent his own representatives with the breaking news that Jesus had risen from the dead, just as he said. The angels asked, “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” Luke 24:5. The huge boulder that once blocked the tomb’s entrance was rolled away. The grave clothes that bound him were left there. Death lost its power to hold Jesus. Oh death, where is your sting? Oh grave, where is your victory? “God will bring down their strongest walls, their impenetrable defenses, and grind them to the ground until they are only dust,” Psalm 25: 12, The Voice. God took something that appears so final to man and supernaturally changed its disposition to live and never die again. God proved he always has the final word. Corruption put on incorruption. Mortal put on immorality. The power of Holy Spirit replaces everything subject to death with eternal life; the same power that resurrected Jesus resurrects anything dead, dying, decayed, or destroyed in your life. Romans 8:9-11, The Message seals this image of God’s most honorable intention toward you. “But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won’t know what we’re talking about. But for you who welcome him, in whom he dwells—even though you still experience all the limitations of sin—you yourself experience life on God’s terms. It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!” Jesus took the death out of life on earth. Resurrection!

April 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

Mysteries from the Mountain of the Lord brings Heaven to Earth  Isaiah foretells of the kingdom of God’s secrets. “…There’s a day coming when the mountain of God’s house will be the mountain—solid, towering over all mountains. All nations will river toward it, people from all over set out for it. They’ll say, “Come, let’s climb God’s mountain, go to the house of the God of Jacob. He’ll show us the way he works so we can live the way we’re made,” Isaiah 2:1-2, The Message. Embracing revealed knowledge, Jesus sought God. “And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him,” Matthew 17:1-3. “And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead,” Matthew 17:9. Isaiah casts a vision of the glorious altitude for us. “They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord,” Isaiah 65: 22-25. Psalm 143:8 creates an atmosphere to receive from above. “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.” Covenant secrets are shown as we honor God. first.

March 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

No permission needed: The enemy you see today, you will see no more

Let’s explore three levels of love in the Greek language. The diversity of relationship we have with others determine the blend we experience. Agapaō is having care and concern relationally or ethically. It is the foundation from which the others spring. God loved the world, (John 3:16); love between God, Jesus and you, (John 14:21); love neighbors as yourself, (Mark 12:31); husbands love wives, (Eph. 5:25); love your enemies, (Matthew 5:44). Agapē shows affection or benevolence associated with I Corinthians 13th chapter. Agapētŏs is being the beloved, i.e., one dear to the heart. God’s gratified with Jesus (Luke 3:22) and when God’s love is perfected in us, it abides in us with increased maturity (I John 4:12).

January 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

The Promise: Emptiness is Nonexistent in the Kingdom of God

Isaiah 55:10-11 imparts an image of the kingdom of God on earth operating just like heaven functions. God’s vows to us are based on the strength of his own Word; it never returns to him unfulfilled. “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” As we receive his promise as the incorruptible seed that lives and abides forever, all doubt, fear, and/or unbelief are dug out. Then room is made for our breakthrough faith; it makes demands on the harvest, no matter if we are a producer and/or a consumer. God’s word—settled in heaven—is the holy seed that impregnates any breach. How much of God’s word will you contain to ensure blight cannot rule in your world?
