Activation of the Love Assignment                                                                         In Greek, God’s love to us agapē is love or charity; affection or benevolence; our love to others is agapaō having its root in agapē; to love (in a social or moral sense). In Mark 12:28-31, Jesus was asked which commandment was the greatest of all. ‘Jesus said, “The first in importance is, ‘Listen, Israel: The Lord your God is one; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.’ And here is the second: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ There is no other commandment that ranks with these.” Mark 12:28-31, (MSG). Those two commandments are crystallized by three assignments found in Exodus 20:1-17 (NIV) The Ten Commandments. Commandments #1-#3 instruct us how to love God. “And God spoke all these words: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments. “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. Commandment #4 instructs us how to be loved by God. Sabbath is pre-scheduled downtime. God loves us back to life by healing our insecurities so we can rest in His love; i.e., curative—always stay open to remain whole. “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. Commandments #5-#10 instruct us how God’s love streams through us to others. We will always seek their highest good by choice, even if our feelings don’t want to agree. 12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. 13 “You shall not murder. 14 “You shall not commit adultery. 15 “You shall not steal. 16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. 17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

Permanently Reset your Clock to match Heaven’s Time Zone In Leviticus, God instituted the Law of Jubilee to recover losses in the 50th year. 2015-2016 is recorded as the final Jubilee on the Jewish calendar. What if you miss it? You would never experience it again or at all. What changed since Jesus is now our Jubilee? Like a number of other laws, it was fulfilled, not eliminated. View “fulfill” as to gorge you with blessings, not gouge you so the curse empowers you to lose out. “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power who went about going good and healing all that were opposed of the devil, for God was with Him”, Acts 10:38. Jesus reset Jubilee; it is eternal and perpetual. God’s grace raised the time barrier so we access freedom now in every area—healing, finances, relationships, etc. The impotent man at the pool of Bethesda 38 years, the woman who was bowed down 18 years, the woman with the issue of blood 12 years as well as told and untold others received Jubilee. As they sought Jesus—not their miracle—He released the emancipation heaven stored up, rendering the curse powerless. Supernaturally redeeming time, He gave newness of life to them all. They received heaven-born possibilities, liberation. When Jesus removed time, He also removed torment. Blind Bartimaeus was convinced his moment in time had come; along with having sight, he would never have to beg again. To prove what he believed, his faith pressed through until he reached Jesus who extended mercy to him in his time of need. Many obstacles persisted, but he never allowed any of them to hinder him; the vision he had on the inside ignored them all. At the end of his faith, he received the promise he desired without the wait. If its said that you will have something undesirable all of your life, tell them you are operating under a better time zone.

THE MASTERPIECE PUT BACK TOGETHER TO SHOWCASE GOD’S DNA

We were fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Marvelous! Totally complex, but when in conflict with God, others and/or ourselves, things get very complicated instead. Parts needing to be servants or slaves usurp the king’s authority. That’s why we explore the wisdom of God for our 12-part system because it can work for or against us. 1) Knower—your conscience; the inner compass, it can’t be wrong, but it can be missed. 2) Thinker—your mind; it has the memory of the past and imagination for the future. 3) Feeler—your emotions; not always right, but always real; the seat of expressed or repressed passions; 4) Chooser—your will; it gives you what you have, not necessarily what you need or want. 5) Believer—your heart; it trusts what you shape and accepts as absolute truth. Never a nonbeliever; we institutively believe something all the time. 6) Carver—your words; spoken influence the direction of your life, cutting out premature death or quality of life. 7) Perceiver—your outlook; interprets what you see as either rare or common. 8) Reproducer—your subconscious mind; draws and manifests replicas of your most dominate impressions. It can’t discern if you are doing it or not. 9) Arranger—your disposition; positive or negative attitude sets the tone, changes the environment; establishes culture. 10) Craver—your appetite; continuous drive for comfort; even if full, is still never satisfied. 11) Enforcer—your instincts; manipulates in the fight for survival or the reproduction of its own kind. 12) Transporter—your body; infrastructure with the capacity to live 120 years or more with proper nutrition, fitness, energy, rest, oxygen, supplements, and detoxification. Desire a makeover? Pray, “Use all Your skill to put me together; I wait to see Your finished product,” Psalm 25:21, Message.

OUR COVENANT WITH GOD IS UNENDING, UNCHANGING, AND UNBROKEN

A living covenant is based on living promises; and a promise is based on the fulfillment of the life contained in its words. The Incorruptible Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you”, 1 Peter 1:23-25 (KJV). The Sworn Promise: “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”, Isaiah 55:10-11 (KJV). The Everlasting Covenant: “David’s Last Song. Now these are the last words of David. David the son of Jesse declares, The man who was raised on high declares, The anointed of the God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of Israel,  The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue. The God of Israel, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, ‘He who rules over men righteously, who rules in the fear of God, is like the morning light when the sun rises. A morning without clouds, when the fresh grass springs out of the earth through sunshine after rain.’ Truly is not my house so [blessed] with God? For He has made an everlasting covenant with me, ordered in all things, and secured. For will He not cause to grow and prosper all my salvation and my every wish? Will He not make it grow and prosper?” 2 Samuel 23:1-5 (AMP).

THE PROGRESSION OF THE STAR

May you always be “a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the morning star arises in your heart”, 2 Peter 2:19, (ESV). Moving—Once astronomers followed a mysterious star. It abandoned its normal pattern from east to west to miraculously move from north to south to highlight heaven’s hidden treasure, Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star. You may only need to change your approach to reach your goal. Wondering—Questions may have arisen about the star’s validity. Oh, what amazing beliefs you embraced along with pure speculation. Wheeling your vivid imagination without recess, while still staggering at the promise of it. Enchanted by nursery rhymes that hopped, skipped, and jumped through your curious little mind, you sang a familiar melody, “Twinkle, twinkle little star…” Wishing—As you ripened, you simply wished upon all the star’s possibilities. On the eve of maturity, you have plans to break away from the chains of unbelief that bind you to limitation. You give yourself permission to explore the whole, wide world. Discovering how you were created caused you to sing a new song that may have been without rhyme or reason, “Someday, I’ll wish upon a star…” Reaching—When you were a child, you thought like a child and talked like a child. Having matured, you put all those childish things far away. You envision the unreachable star being fully realized. Although others may think your dreams are impossible, you chart steps to answer the call of destiny. By faith, you picture the impossible as the inevitable, so you ad lib, “To reach the unreachable star”. Showing—As unique stars, we are divinely commissioned to illuminate our world by showing Jesus Christ off; our light does not point to, but shows the way to invite anyone, anywhere at anytime to the True Light. Our light emanates from His Light alone. Shining—Be the light that draws others to Jesus! “and they that be wise shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever”, Daniel 12:3, (KJV).

November 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

Transcend your Hope by Removing any Presence of Loss

The Tree of Life is proof that nothing is ever lost within the kingdom of God. The Bible records it in the first book, Genesis and the last book, Revelation. How is it restored? The resurrection power of Christ gave new life to what appeared to be lost forever. Job 14:7-9 reveals, “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.” Hope sown is not buried alive. “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life”, Prov. 13:12. Refuse to dig up your seeds by rehearsing contrary words. “A wholesome tongue is a Tree of Life; but perverseness makes a breach in the spirit.” Prov. 15:4. Tongues plot destination to life or death. Stay connected to Holy Spirit so He can lead you into a voluptuous lifestyle. Challenge every hostile hope. If you or anyone speaks words to extinguish your hope, say aloud, “I break the power of those negative words; that will not come to pass in my life. You cannot re-route my destiny to the Tree of Life with premature death”. Be unyielding about re-securing the newness of life Jesus restored. It is far better than the life Adam and Eve enjoyed before the “Fall”. Be resolute to live dependent upon God. He only has one desire: restitution. Anything created can be re-created better than what was lost. “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

October 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

Be Holy Spirit Dominant: Live the Prearranged Path God Designed

“Do what your king commands; you gave a sacred oath of obedience. Don’t worryingly second-guess your orders or try to back out when the task is unpleasant. You’re serving his pleasure, not yours. The king has the last word. Who dares say to him, “What are you doing?” Carrying out orders won’t hurt you a bit; the wise person obeys promptly and accurately. Yes, there’s a right time and way for everything, even though, unfortunately, we miss it for the most part. It’s true that no one knows what’s going to happen, or when. Who’s around to tell us?” Eccl. 8:2-7, The Message. The answer is: Holy Spirit! Jesus taught His disciples about Holy Spirit’s ministry. From the Voice Translation, three Scriptures show His significance to sustain an intimate fellowship in every area of your life. The Present: “I will ask the Father to send you another Helper, the Spirit of truth, who will remain constantly with you. The world does not recognize the Spirit of truth, because it does not know the Spirit and is unable to receive Him. But you do know the Spirit because He lives with you, and He will dwell in you”, John 14:16-17. The Past: “The Father is sending a great Helper, the Holy Spirit, in My name to teach you everything and to remind you of all I have said to you”, John 14:26. The Future: “The Spirit of truth will come and guide you in all truth. He will not speak His own words to you; He will speak what He hears, revealing to you the things to come and bringing glory to Me. The Spirit has unlimited access to Me, to all that I possess and know, just as everything the Father has is Mine. That is the reason I am confident He will care for My own and reveal the path to you”, John 16:13-15. Stay connected!

September 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

The Message Bible Imparts The Framework For Your Self-Portrait

Your Anticipation: “Use all your skill to put me together; I wait to see your finished product”, Psalm 25:21. “God, my God, I yelled for help and you put me together. God, you pulled me out of the grave, gave me another chance at life when I was down-and-out”, Psalm 30:2-3. Your Affirmation: “God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together, he gave me a fresh start. Now I’m alert to God’s ways; I don’t take God for granted. Every day I review the ways he works; I try not to miss a trick. I feel put back together, and I’m watching my step. God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes”, Psalm 18:20-24. Your Answer from Jesus: “This, in a nutshell, is that will: that everything handed over to me by the Father be completed—not a single detail missed—and at the wrap-up of time I have everything and everyone put together, upright and whole. This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time,” John 6:39-40. I join my faith with yours that all the pieces of your life will resemble the masterpiece God designed before the foundation of the world. “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!”, I Thessalonians 5:23-24.

August 2015 enewsletter – Voice of Triumph

Your Confirmation: God Always Sets An End To Everything He Begins

It doesn’t matter how you start; it really counts more how you finish. We wouldn’t fret if we could see the end God ordains. Judah—Jacob and Leah’s fourth son—received a prophetic blessing from his father recorded in Genesis 49:10-12, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah until Shiloh comes, whom all people shall obey. He has chained his steed to the choicest vine and washed his clothes in wine. His eyes are darker than wine and his teeth are whiter than milk”. Revelation 5:5, TLB shares the fulfillment of that promise: “But one of the twenty-four Elders said to me, “Stop crying, for look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, and proved himself worthy to open the scroll and to break its seven seals”. Leah interprets Judah’s name as “Now will I praise the Lord”, Genesis 29:35. Strong’s Concordance defines his name “celebrated”, universally known as “praise”. God is enthroned in power when you praise him. Alignment to God reproduces destiny. Praise is how we work with God to still the enemy; then the defeated foe can only be a spectator, never a devastator. What’s received in the genesis of life springs forth after we receive a revelation of who we really are in the kingdom of God. In Isaiah 46:10, God speaks the climax of our story. “Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure”. The middle is not your end: it’s just an indicator you’re half-way there. Refuse to get stuck in the middle. “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof…” Ecclesiastes 7:8.
