Preparing the chosen vessel for overflow Fill. When we offer a vacancy to God to fill, he freely expresses his will through us. Offer yourself like Mary did, “Be it unto me, according to thy Word.” Then God contains heaven’s best treasure, Jesus Christ within you. Heal. Mary was breachproof, so she was able to contain the promise without aborting it because of insecurity. When your breaches are healed, you can birth the impossible. Psalm 60:2, “...heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.” Seal. When Mary better understood the heaven-born possibility—to spill over into the earth without measure—she hid the message in her heart to preserve it from contamination. Job 33:16, “Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction.” Fulfill. Mary attracted every provision to her at the time of delivery. The whole earth bowed to serve. Ephesians 1:19-21, “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

From drought to drenched Each day possesses a readiness to supply. Even during drought, Elijah thrived. God commanded the ravens to feed Elijah at the brook Cherith. One type of raven may have eaten Elijah’s food, but the Word of God Elijah trusted repositioned the raven to become a courier instead of a scavenger. When the brook dried up, God commanded a widow in Zarephath to feed Elijah. Down to her last meal, the woman and her son were operating in the survival mode—trying to keep from dying. When she fully cooperated, the widow began living under open heavens. Elijah became her guest and pronounced a blessing on her after he rebuked the fear of death, i.e., that she and her son would die prematurely as well as her food container would run out. The Word of God Elijah trusted repositioned the widow to become a reproducer instead of only a consumer. When it was time for the drought to cease, Elijah foreknew that when it rained, it would be way too much. On the other hand, his servant did not see anything for a while. But the Word of God Elijah trusted repositioned that land from drought to being drenched. The common denominator between these three accounts was the command of the Lord that enlightened Elijah’s eyes to see what and how God sees. Just like Elijah, you too can see God’s commands fully executed. Anticipate receiving what was promised...simply because it has already been provided. Today is a “made day” crafted in advance to meet any demand. Can you see it?

I first started studying Sonship some years back. Not realizing its importance, I did not continue to research it out completely although I have been mindful of it. After salvation, I believe sonship is one of the most valuable biblical topics that can revolutionize your life. Moving from a sinner, God graciously repositions you and I not just as saved, but as his son or daughter. God desires to raise us up as his very own. David confirms this in Psalm 27:10, The Amplified, “Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].”
