God\u2019s designated authority to Jesus: \u201cThou hast put all things in subjection under His feet. For in that He put all in subjection under Him, He left nothing that is not put under Him. But now we see not yet all things put under Him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels [Elohim] for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man,\u201d Heb. 2:8-9 (KJV). Jesus\u2019 assignment fulfilled:&nbsp; \u201cForasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy [<em>katarge\u00f3<\/em> to render inoperable; abolish] him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver [<em>apallass\u00f3 <\/em>\u2013 to remove or release] them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage,\u201d Heb. 2:14-15 (KJV). \u201cHe that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy [<em>lu\u00f3<\/em> \u2013 to undo, loose, annul] the works of the devil,\u201d 1 John 3:8 (KJV). Jesus\u2019 delegated authority surrendered to God: \u201cThen cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For He hath put all things under His feet. But when He saith all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under Him,\u201d1 Cor. 15:24-27 (KJV).
