Holy Spirit rested on Jesus permanently. \u201cThen John told about seeing the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove descending from heaven and resting upon Jesus. \u201cI didn\u2019t know He was the one,\u201d John said again, \u201cbut at the time God sent me to baptize He told me, \u2018When you see the Holy Spirit descending and resting upon Someone\u2014He is the One you are looking for. He is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.\u2019 I saw it happen to this Man, and I therefore testify that He is the Son of God,\u201d John 1:32-34 (TLB). Jesus hosted God\u2019s Wisdom: \u201cAnd the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom <\/em>and understanding<\/em>, the Spirit of counsel <\/em>and might<\/em>, the Spirit of knowledge <\/em>and of the fear of the Lord<\/em>; And shall make Him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: And righteousness <\/em>shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness <\/em>the girdle of His reins. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest shall be glorious<\/em>,\u201d Isaiah 11:1-5, 10 (KJV). Jesus hosted God\u2019s Love: \u201cBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,meekness, temperance: <\/em>against such there is no law,\u201d Gal. 5:22-23 (KJV). Jesus hosted God\u2019s Power: \u201c But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom<\/em>; to another the word of knowledge <\/em>by the same Spirit; To another faith <\/em>by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing <\/em>by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles<\/em>; to another prophecy<\/em>; to another discerning of spirits<\/em>; to another divers kinds of tongues<\/em>; to another the interpretation of tongues<\/em>: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will,\u201d 1 Cor. 12:4-11 (KJV).
