Chapter Two

I’ll Make It Up To You

Commitment of God

Once upon a time, there was a woman named Naomi was married to Elimelech. Born out of their union were two sons named Mahlon and Chilion. Their hometown was in Bethlehem-Judah, which is interpreted as the House of Praise.

During a time of famine, the family moved to the country of Moab that was a known enemy of God. In this case, the scripture says that they “went” on their own accord, but were not “sent” by God. Whenever you choose to leave the place of praise and ally with God’s enemies, you will experience unnecessary trials.

This course of action eventually turned their glory into shame. Anytime you take a “chance” on something that is not God ordained you will be headed for self-destruction. God is sure. He doesn’t take chances, so neither do you have to take chances. In fact, there is no such thing as luck in the kingdom of God, even if is prefaced with the word “good”. The origin of the word “luck” can be traced back to the name Lucifer. The bible references Lucifer as satan’s original name. Needless to say, he took a chance when he thought he and one-third of the angels could dethrone God Almighty. You know his end, total defeat. to be continued
