Galatians 4:1-7 illustrates that an immature heir is comparable to a servant under an established rule. God never compares you to a slave, if you are His son. However, the Lord acknowledges His desire for you to be grow up in the things of God. “Now I say, That an heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, thou he be lord of all; but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: but when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law; to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Follow after righteousness. “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye were digged.

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him. For the Lord shall comfort Zion; He shall comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden; and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of the melody.

Hearken unto Me, My people, and give ear unto Me, O My nation: for a law shall proceed from Me, and I will make My judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon Me, and on My arm shall they trust.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner; but My salvation shall be forever, and My righteousness shall not be abolished,” Isaiah 51:1-6. The righteousness of God is forever. Don’t follow close behind anything else.

Know Righteousness.
“Hearken unto Me ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is My law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but My righteousness shall be forever, and My salvation from generation to generation,” Isaiah 51:7-8. To know righteousness is to know spiritual law.

Quicken me in thy Righteousness.
“Behold I have longed after thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness,” Psalm 119:40. Ask the Lord to revive; restore; and repair you to meet His standards of operation.

Learn Righteousness.
“With my soul have I desired Thee in the night; yea with my spirit within me will I seek thee early; for when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants will learn righteousness,” Isaiah 26:9. Become an expert skilled in righteousness. When used as a defensive weapon, it cannot be penetrated by anything the enemy can use against us.

Hunger and Thirst after Righteousness.
“Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled,” Matthew 5:6. You will be empowered to prosper because of your appetite for righteousness. The end result is that you shall be satisfied with only God's quality of life for you. You won’t come away still having hunger pangs.

Sow and Reap in Righteousness.
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord 'til He come and rain righteousness upon you,” Hosea 10:12. If you want to reap every day, then sow every day. You can receive a breakthrough for any hard place in your life. You can begin to believe and receive a harvest in non-producing areas, even in areas where you have experienced a crop failure. You can attain God’s quality of harvest. to be continued
