How Do You Measure

the Worth of a Man?

Channeled through God

It was brought to my attention some time ago that the physical body has very little value in monetary terms. Its worth was said to be less than a dollar. So you can see how easy it is for a person to cling to the thought that his life may amount to only a little or absolutely nothing at all.

From God’s point of view, He sees you as invaluable. I invite you to agree with these lyrics, “How do you measure the worth of a man?” The songwriter’s answer is to “look at his life through heaven’s eyes.”

Be resolved that you were fearfully and wonderfully made by God. What makes everyone so valuable is God designed mankind after the image and likeness of Himself, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Genesis 2:7 confirms you are more than a mud pie. It says, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man become a living soul.”

Once you understand your own worth and value through the lens of Scripture, you will become more confident that God already marked your wealthy place as well. The term “wealthy” in biblical terms means to be moist, i.e., no more drought. God wants you to experience an unending flow of harvest that steadily increases you more and more with no visible signs of lack, debt, or poverty. to be continued
