Be certain that God desires you to fully participate as His heir, but your lack of participation will not even cause a delay. The worst that can happen is you will never wear the crown as a partaker of God’s divine nature. When you choose to be an observer only, you are easy prey to be victimized by satan. satan's plot is to entrap you into any compromising behavior so you can’t escape the lusts that are in the world through the flesh. The biggest kind of nonconformity is unbelief, which exempts you from reigning.

            Jesus outlasted temptation because he was full of the Holy Spirit, the Word, and the power of God. Therefore, He destroyed the works of the devil. That same Jesus lives within you to empower you with His royal authority today. Romans 8:11 shows your seamless connection to Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

            Resurrection power also indwells you because of the authority of the anointing, so you can speak words of life and receive supernatural results. Isaiah 59:19 vividly illustrates the results. “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” You are the standard God raised up so no flood can breakthrough because God is your fortified defense.

            In I Samuel 30th chapter, David inquired of the Lord whether or not he should pursue his enemy regarding the burned and desolate city of Ziglag and his abducted people. The Lord advised him to go reverse the curse [things that cause you to fail]; go retrieve what belongs to you; go rescue the perishing; go restore the order, balance, and wholeness to your family, home, workplace, and city. David did exactly what God commanded and recovered all. He and his men defended and rescued the whole city. They stripped the enemy of his power and delivered all their people, property, and possessions. With that victory, the corrupt world system succumbed to David’s rule in just one day when he received and acted on God’s counsel. They recovered all because what they believed gave them the victory and they turned their enemy upside down and inside out.

            Additionally, David and his army seized the enemy’s possessions, so in the end they received much more than they lost. They contained the enemy’s portion because they made enough room to receive the extras. Moreover, it was approved by God for them to take the spoils of war. Sometimes, the Lord may instruct you not to take certain things from the enemy's camp. These things may seem honest, but in reality they could be a snare to you. If they are allowed to infiltrate your camp, your allegiance to God may be overthrown. Be sensitive to know the difference, and only allow the leading of the Lord to impart wisdom through His Word and His Spirit.

            You can develop undeniable influence with heaven and earth to restore all. Raise the standard. Get energized. Set in motion the laws of the kingdom of God. Seize the kingdoms of this world for the glory of God. God’s will is done in the earth when you consistently employ your royal authority. You have been chosen to be a ruler of all God’s substance.
