Matthew 27:35 gives account of Jesus' killers putting His robe in a lottery to take a chance on winning it. “And they crucified Him, and parted His garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted My garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.” You don’t have to gamble to receive your covenant benefits. Here is your way of escape. Both righteousness and salvation are God's gifts to you forever. There is more than enough coverage for everyone without any interruption or interference. You can now face shame and any other diabolical spirit with confidence because you are welcome to boldly come to the throne of grace freely. You don’t ever have to skirt around this issue again.
Thirdly, God’s power is manifested when you confess the stripes of Jesus has made you whole. That’s believing you received the end of your faith, righteousness and salvation, in the presence of guilt, embarrassment, unworthiness, or disgrace. Once you settle that issue in heaven once and for all, you cannot be removed from the throne. When you fully accept the blood of Jesus to present you faultless before God, you can wear the crown honorably. Then the Lord can lavish all of His daily covenant benefits on you that He has richly and bountifully prepared for you.
Say out loud, sin and shame have no dominion over me. I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ, who is now my Lord. satan, you can no longer disrobe me. I am clothed with the glory of God because I have on the garment of salvation and the robe of righteousness. Be determined to say those commanding words until you are convinced that it is so.
Salvation fully satisfies all the requirements of righteousness. In order to bring you total salvation, the blood of Jesus covers every need you could ever have in this life. In fact, there is nothing that cannot be covered by the blood of Jesus when repentance is present. There is nothing too big, too small, too long, too wide, or too wrong for the blood of Jesus to lose its power to make it all right. God stooped so low to raise you up to sit in heavenly places. Psalm 69:29 shows the gentleness of God to make you great. “But I am poor and sorrowful: let salvation, O God set up on high.” It’s all covered. Nothing is left exposed so you have to fin for yourself.
Hebrew 7:25 confirms the magnitude of this binding agreement. “Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” The dictionary defines “uttermost” as having the extreme capacity to give and to receive the best. The blood covenant makes you so whole that there is absolutely nothing left in your life that needs to be saved. Absolutely nothing missing. Absolutely nothing lacking. Absolutely nothing broken. Absolutely nothing torn. Absolutely nothing ripped. Absolutely no patches. There are no loopholes or snags. No tears or holes. Not faded, and you definitely cannot outgrow it.
Jesus told the disciples to compare the lilies of the field to what King Solomon wore. The lilies of the field received all its benefits from God as you would an inheritance, while King Solomon worked hard to attain what he had in addition to receiving an earthly dynasty from his father David. Matthew 6:28-30 gives this account. "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"
God is always faithful to keep His own Word which removes all fear, doubt, worry, and unbelief. He will never change His mind, therefore you can count on Him to be without breach of any promise He made. God is mindful of His everlasting covenant to you so He will not alter any thing that has gone out of His mouth. His infallible Word will never return to Him without accomplishing what it was sent to fulfill, the blood covenant in its entirety. What God covenanted lifts you up from the sinking sand to the place where the riches of the glory of His grace prevail. You are accepted in the beloved, Jesus Christ. (excerpt to be continued)
