7 Complete born LaBaron L. Simpson Jr, in Cleveland Ohio, grew up in a spiritual and musical household. His father being a well known musician in the city, and his mother being a worship leader in the church, Music was already in him.

At age twelve, 7 started rapping by freestyling and writing rhymes in his school notebooks, and as often as he would do this it became more natural and 7 knew surely that rapping was a gift from God. Accepting Christ for himself prior to discovering his gift, 7 became driven to use rap as a vehicle and means of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
